You are results driven with the proven ability to deliver service excellence due to your strategic and decisive experiences in stock level replenishment and cost/inventory controls. You thrive in a challenging environment and welcome the chance to work with specific areas of accountability and responsibilities. You have a full understand of what our customers need and are well versed in the commodity trends, flow of product and distribution. You enjoy working in partnership with a diverse team of people to deliver the best possible results to our customers.

Your key accountabilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Execute stock replenishment, movement and turns in accordance with our fill targets and profitability models;
  • Buy product that is needed weekly and control cost of waste and overstock issues;
  • Manage 2000 lines -$2 million dollars in inventory on a weekly basis;
  • Demonstrate ownership of vendor portfolio, inbound inventory, and inventory on hand;
  • Manage purchase order costing discrepancies on a daily/weekly basis;
  • Be aware of trending products, market conditions, fluctuating customer needs and business needs;
  • Handle all inquiries, concerns and situations with various departments, customers and vendors with a great sense of urgency


  • A varied background in Distribution and Purchasing with a clear understanding of logistics and timing of purchasing effectively;
  • Minimum 3- 5 years’ experience required in a similar role;
  • Experience in food service preferred to properly understand the market fluctuations;
  • Must be an independent, analytical thinker always positioning profitability and feasibility with each decision;
  • Solid experience in Negotiations and working with various groups of people;
  • Must have a sense of urgency and be able to manage multiple work streams in an organized fashion
  • Must be comfortable using various software applications including E3 and Microsoft Office (Excel).
