Sanitation Worker - WHSE

THE ROLE:

You are a dedicated individual who thrives in a physically demanding and challenging role. Your approach should come with a clear understanding of the direct impact on the business and work extensively to take a safe and supportive approach to deliver the best possible results to your internal customers.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Must demonstrate an adherence to all HACCP and Food Handling practices as well as to all Company`s policies and procedures;
  • Collect and sort recyclables and garbage; wash and sanitize the Warehouse area;
  • Sweep aisles in Warehouse and clean up product spills;
  • Safekeeping of company equipment and product, maintaining safety of yourself and those around you;

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be willing to be trained in all aspects of the Warehouse upon supervisor`s request (baling, sanitation, slot cleaning, etc.);
  • Experience and/or training in operating a Raymond End Rider;
  • Comfortable working in a cold environment ( up to – 20 Fahrenheit ) for short periods of time;
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a good attitude with respect for your co-workers;
  • Be physically fit to lift heavy weights ( up to 23 kg) on occasion;
  • Must meet internal customer expectations;
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be open to working weekends and statutory holidays.
